After the 2014 American-made “Godzilla” project, Japanese production company Toho Co., responsible for the original 1954 Godzilla, recently announced a new monster movie, “Godzilla Resurgence.”

Most Zilla fans are hoping for a much better film than the recent Bryan Cranston disaster. This was the longest movie with the shortest amount of Godzilla screen time of all 29 movies.

According to koreaportal.com, this will be the largest and scariest of the mutated monster that the world has ever seen.

Initial plot rumors speculated that “Godzilla Resurgence” will be regenerated from a nuclear attack from man’s use of nuclear weapons. The monster will be awash in red and black color, which is different from the usual green or gray hues we see on Zilla.

Throughout Godzilla’s 63 year life span, the originally horrifying monster had taken a more comical, campy approach to films, but based on the report of Youth Health Magazine, “directors Hideaki Anno and Shinji Higuchi vowed to bring Godzilla to his horror roots.”

The original 1954 film is extremely dark, especially for its time, and this should be a fresh new way to bring back this monster.

This will be Godzilla’s first Japanese appearance since “Final Wars” in 2004.

“Godzilla Resurgence” is set to release in Japan on July 29, 2016. Unfortunately for western fans, Toho is not expected to have this film released in North American cinemas.

The one semi-confirmed distribution company for “Godzilla Resurgence” is a company named “New World Cinema.” If true, this means Americans will not see the film until sometime in 2017.

Netflix has officially announced the revival of the beloved television series Gilmore Girls and has teamed up with creator Amy Sherman-Palladino for a four-episode revival.

Many actresses and actors have chosen to return to play their characters one last time. Some of the returning celebrities include: Alexi Biedel (Rory Gilmore), Lauren Graham (Lorelai Gilmore),  Scott Patterson (Luke Danes), Keiko Agena (Lane Kim), Yanic Truesdale (Michel Gerard) and Kelly Bishop (Emily Gilmore). Luke’s daughter, Lane’s twin sons, town weirdo Kirk and auto-repair woman Gypsy are also set to return to the series.

Unfortunately, Melissa McCarthy will not be returning as Sookie, nor will Edward Herrmann as Richard Gilmore. McCarthy was not invited back by Sherman-Palladino, as she assumed McCarthy would be too busy to reprise her role, but stated she would gladly write McCarthy into the script if she became available last minute.

Sadly, Herrmann passed away in December of 2014. Bishop, who plays the wife of Herrmann’s character addressed the emotions in returning without Herrmann saying that the revival will address his absence and pick up just four months after Richard’s death.

Many of Rory’s ex-boyfriends will also be reprising their roles. So far, Matt Czuchry (Logan), Milo Ventimiglia (Jess) and Jared Padalecki (Dean) will be returning. Sherman-Palladino has said Rory will not be married, but she will be dating at the start of the revival; however, it has not been said just who it is that Rory is dating. 

New characters will also be introduced in the four-episode series including: a Peruvian couple, a man who never smiles and more. Some have wondered whether or not any new characters will be played by Sutton Foster, an actress from television show “Bunheads,” also created by Sherman-Palladino.  

Each of the four 90-minute episodes will run over a season; starting with winter then spring, summer and finally fall. The revival will take place in present-day, about eight years after the end of season seven and 16 years after the beginning of the series.

Filming has begun, with a slew of pictures being tweeted and sent out by those reprising their roles in the series. Although no release date has been set, fans are already impatiently awaiting the return of their favorite Gilmore Girls.

Singer Zayn Malik may have lost his band members back in March of 2015 but definitely not his talent. Former One direction member officially left his band on the March 25; however, he decided to keep his music career alive.

After an abrupt departure from his record label with One Direction, Malik left many fans devastated and in shock.  

He left no explanation for his decision until July 29 when he tweeted, “I guess I never explained why I left, it was for this moment to be given the opportunity to show you who I really am!”

Along with this, he tweeted a picture of him signing  to a new record label, deciding to go solo. Since then, Malik has released singles which have caused an uprising of mixed emotions between fans. The songs have climbed the charts on iTunes, yet some One Direction fans are still bitter he left the band.

These singles include “Pillow Talk,” “It’s You,” and his most recent single released March 11, “Like I Would.” Malik’s music genre is described as pop, R&B and sometimes rock, which is different from One Direction’s strict pop style.

At the moment, Malik is making no public contact with his former band and One Direction are dealing with their own career making decisions.

While One direction’s On the Road Again tour ended October 31 2015, the band is now said to be on break, but most fans question whether the members will even be back to make new music at all. This theory is the response to many situations including the length of time they have been producing music and the drama the members have gone through such as Louis Tomlinson becoming a father.

Malik’s first solo album, “Mind of Mine,” is scheduled to be released on March 25, the same day he left the band the previous year. The album can be pre-ordered now on iTunes and with the purchase buyers will receive his current three singles automatically.

Fans everywhere are eagerly waiting for the release and the album seems guaranteed to live up to the expectations.
