There are many different types of languages. Everyone all around the world speaks in their own language. In the U.S. there are over 300 languages spoken.

Half of the population speak over 23 languages. About half of the world is bilingual. The languages Sumerian language is the oldest language in the world. Chinese Mandarin is the most spoken language in the world.

     While English is the most dominant language in the world with 1,132 million speakers. Mandarin is the second most spoken language in the world with 1,117 million speakers.
